BIG CITY BEATS

Gestern war es dann endlich so weit und ich war in Singapur! In Singapur! Ganz klar, dass ich euch alles darüber erzählen muss, denn ich hatte mich schon so lange auf den Trip gefreut. 

Yesterday was the day and I went to Singapore! Singapore! Of course, I have to tell you everything about it, because I was looking toward this trip such a long time. 

Ich bin über's Wochenende für einen kleinen Abstecher dort hin gereist und es war auch völlig ausreichend. Singapur muss man, auch wenn man nur sehr wenig Zeit hat, unbedingt gesehen haben. Die Stadt ist der Wahnsinn! Los ging es dann also ganz früh morgens (4 Uhr!!!) zum Flughafen in Bali und knappe zwei Stunden weiter nach Singapur, ein Katzensprung! 

I have traveled over the weekend for a short trip there and it was perfectly adequate. You cannot miss Singapore, even if you have very little time. The city is amazing! I started very early in the morning (4 o'clock!!!) to the airport in Bali and scarce another two hours to Singapore, a stone's throw!

Dort angekommen bin ich direkt raus aus dem Flughafen und rein in die Metro. Es ging als erstes mit der Straßenbahn zu den Botanischen Gärten, die mir empfohlen wurden und sie waren auch echt einen Besuch wert. Super schön anzusehen und alles so exotisch! Mit zwei Tagen hatte ich dann doch genug Zeit und konnte mir alles in Ruhe ansehen. Mein ursprünglicher Plan war nämlich nur einen Tag zu fliegen, doch dann war der Flug ausgebucht und ich änderte kurzerhand meine Entscheidung. 

Once there, I directly went out of the airport and to the Metro station. First I went on the tram to the Botanical Gardens, which were recommended to me and they were really worth a visit. Very beautiful for relaxing and enjoying the view and everything so exotic! On two days I had enough time and could see everything at rest. My original plan was to fly only one day, but then the flight was fully booked and I changed my decision without further ado.

Von den Botanischen Gärten ging es nach Little India, obwohl ich gehört habe, dass es nicht so schön sein soll. Ich wollte auch nur einen kleinen Eindruck bekommen und mir Henna für Zuhause kaufen. Etwas interessanter war dann doch Chinatown, wo ich in einem Hostel mitten im Zentrum übernachtet habe, die Lage war perfekt und das Hostel war für eine Nacht auch vollkommen ausreichend. 

I have stayed in a hostel in Chinatown right in the center, the location was perfect and the hostel was perfectly adequate for one night. From the Botanic Gardens I went to Little India, although I have heard that it shouldn't be really nice. I also wanted to get a small impression and buy Henna for bringing home. Was a bit more interesting but then Chinatown, where I stayed in a hostel right in the center, the location was perfect and the hostel was for perfectly adequate for one night.

Natürlich war das noch nicht alles für den ersten Tag, denn um 16 Uhr hatte ich eine Verabredung im Marina Bay Sands. Richtig gelesen! Ich hatte mit wenig Hoffnung nach einer Tour durch das Wahrzeichen Singapurs, von der ich auf meinem Blog berichten kann, gefragt, denn ich schwärme schon lange von dem beeindruckenden Gebäude. 

Of course, that was not all for the first day, because I had an appointment at the Marina Bay Sands at 4 pm. Read correctly! I asked with less hope for a tour at the symbol of Singapore, of which I can report on my blog, because I have long been enthusiastic from the impressive building.

Komplett überrascht kam schon einen Tag nach meiner Anfrage die Einladung. Ich musste den ganzen Tag lächeln und hätte am liebsten geschrien! Für mich ging es dann durch die Top Suiten des Hotels, die ich euch auch noch vorstellen werde. Ende und Höhepunkt (im wahrsten SInne des Wortes) war dann das Dach, das gigantische Schiff mit dem wohl berühmtesten Pool. 

Complete surprise came the invitation just one day after my request. I smiled the whole day and wanted to scream! We went through the top suites, which I will also introduce to you. End and climax (in the truest sense of the word) was then the roof, the gigantic ship with the most famous pool. 

Nur für Hotelgäste und exklusiv für mich. Ich kann es immer noch nicht fassen! Somit war auch das Ende des ersten Tages erreicht und ich bewunderte noch den wunderschönsten Sonnenuntergang meines Lebens über den Dächern von SIngapur. Danach fand noch eine super schöne Lasershow vor dem Hotel statt. Wirklich empfehlenswert! Zu guter Letzt machte ich noch ganz viele Fotos von allem, was geleuchtet hat. 

For hotel guests only and exclusively for me. I still can't believe it! Thus, the end of the first day was achieved and I admired even the most beautiful sunset of my life over the rooftops of Singapore. After that a super nice laser show in front of the hotel. Really recommended! Last but not least I took some photos of all the things, which were bright and shiny. 

Total erschöpft schleppte ich mich dann zu meinem Hostel und fiel in ein echt gemütliches Bett, um in wenigen Stunden wieder aufzustehen. Eigentlich hatte ich am ersten Tag auch schon alles geschafft, denn ich wollte mir die typischen Touristendinge, wie Sealife, Universal Studios und so weiter sparen. 

Totally exhausted, I dragged me to my hostel and fell into a really comfortable bed, to get up again in a few hours. Actually I had already done everything on the first day, because I wanted to save me the typical tourist things like Sealife, Universal Studios, and so on. 

Zu wenig Zeit an zwei Tagen und zu wenig Interesse meinerseits. Auch vom Singapore Flyer nur ein Foto, ich war ja schon einmal im London Eye. Zweiter Tag, zweiter Post: Shopping!

Too less time on two days and too less interest on my part. Also from the Singapore Flyer only a photo, I was already in the London Eye. Second day, second post: Shopping!
